Here is a great tip for removing patina by hand in small areas from
@pyrus_designs - “Here’s a trick I do... take the cotton off one end of a cue tip and cover it in steel wool. This gives you a nice flat and small surface to hold your steel wool exactly where you want it. I use an orange wood stick with steel wool for even tighter spaces!“ Love this so much! Thank you for letting us share 🙌 If you are newer to working with steel wool just remember if you end up having to put your piece back in the pickle for whatever reason give your piece a nice scrub with soap and a toothbrush to remove any small steel particles you won’t want in your pickle (they will contaminate the pickle 😄)
