Replacing the brushes inside a @foredomelectric flex shaft sent by @down_to_the_wire_designs - “When my Foredom cut out the other day, I knew there was a good chance that the carbon brushes had worn down. When they’ve worn down to approximately a quarter of an inch it’s usually the optimal time for replacement. But it’s an easy fix! All you’ll need to do this simple repair is a new pair of brushes and a screw driver.
Two quick notes:
1. Always unplug the unit before you begin
2. Brushes vary from model to model, so be sure to get the correct ones. “ thank you Chuck for sharing this with us! Maintenance on a flex shaft is an important!
