Here is a studio tip from @sinead_cleary_jewelry - “Instead of using regular paper towels, I use these shop towels. I get them from Napa Autoparts. They are used more traditionally for mechanics. They are lint free and strong and absorb grease really well. So I not only use them for all general purposes in my studio but use them when I grease my flexshaft or other tools. And with goo gone for wax carving. Also a big fan because they are made in the USA. They are a couple dollars per roll, so a bit more than regular paper towels but work so much better. When I’m done with them I throw them all into my PMRS (Precious Metal Refining Services) bucket to be refined.” This is awesome because it’s a great reminder to save your bench sweeps and dirty paper towels because there is a ton of money hiding in that garbage but I also love the towel recommendation as I do find regular ones make my tools very linty. I’ll definitely be trying this Sinead, thank you so much! #benchtips #benchjeweler #jewelrystudio
