Here is a #diy plier holder for your bench from @littleoscilla -“This is my diy bench modification/organization I made for my pliers, making them convenient to grab and to store. 👩🏭⬇️
.
I saw on Metalsmith Society’s Tip Search that @refraction_manufacturing did a similar hack with a coat hanger on the top of their bench. However, I couldn’t do that because I have a table lamp and other stuff on my bench top, so I opted to the side and it works just as well. I recommend anything 10 gauge or thicker, because I find it’s wide enough for the pliers to rest on top without getting stuck (I only had vine-wrapped wire on hand that was thick enough). From there it’s pretty self-explanatory, drill two holes however far apart you need, fold over the wire on the other side, throw on your pliers and you’re good to go.” Nothing makes me happier than seeing how people do things in their own studios and share with us. The cool thing about jewelry making in general is there are hundreds of solutions for the same problem, and I love to see the different ways people problem solve! Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us! #jewelersbench #jewelrypliers #jewelrystudioorganization .
