Here is a tip for twisting wire from @alexboydstudio - “To achieve and even twist down the length of the rod, make sure you pull back firmly while you twist. The longer the rod the more difficult it is to evenly twist. That’s why while it’s tempting to make a very long twisted rod then cut it for multiple pieces, this often leads to uneven patterns and lower quality work. I use a bench mounted vise and a pair of vise grips. It’s important to grip the ends of the wire with the minimum amount of force necessary to securely hold the wire. Gripping more tightly can cause the wire to break at the pinch points. “ Thank you for sharing this with us Alex!
