Here is a tip for getting a great solder seam on a ring shank from
@flowstudiosupply - “Line up the ends of your ring nice and tight, and then saw through right along the seam with a 2/0 saw blade. You’ll remove just enough metal so the ends align even better! Consider finger safety: Michael likes to position the ring so the V-slot on the bench pin takes the hit of the saw blade rather than his finger.” Thank you for letting me share this tip and also mentioning the finger safety. It’s best to never ever hold your piece in a way that you could accidentally cut your finger! This tip works amazing for getting a tight seam! Love it!
