Here is a pickle tip from @gaeavibes - “I bought a little fondue warmer (candle lit), mixed vinegar & salt in it. I lit the candle & let it warm. I found a make-shift lid - a random tupperware lid. After letting its warm for a little I dunked my pieces in & they came out white & clean! Yay! I'm moving off grid & didn’t want to constantly be drawing from solar for the pickle pot so this is perfect for me! “ This is also a great solution for small spaces!
