This demo on shaping thick bezel wire (that is 1mm + in thickness) is sponsored by our friends at lindstromtools Using their ergonomic RX series pliers I make small bends in my annealed wire, shaping and comparing it against my stone. I like to occasionally use a sharpie marker to mark where adjustments need to be made. The RX 7890 is a flat nose plier that helps me get my shape going and RX 7590 is a round nose that helped me curve the corners of the oval. The RX 8162 is a flush cutter that was easily able to cut the 1mm wire! Sometimes I will anneal a second time after I’ve been bending a bit and the metal is resisting. Thank you to Emily of marquisjewelryacademy who helped me learn to make thick bezels with this method. It works great, you just need some pliers and patience. Thank you again to Lindström I have been loving working with this RX series which is designed to be comfortable and ergonomic, you can find all of these pliers at JewelryTools.com Hope everyone finds this helpful! <br>#sponsored #lindstromtools #jewelrypliers #stonesetting #bezelsetting
