Here is my honest review of this kit, PROS: Price is currently $325 (it’s on SALE), that is the most affordable bench lathe with dust collection I could find! Footprint, this compact unit is only 13” wide. Easy to set up and operate. Variable speeds from 1,800-7,000 RPM which is comprable to other similar units. It’s not very loud! CONS: The suction isn’t super duper strong but from what I can tell testing it, it does it’s job collecting the particles and debris that would otherwise go in your face and all over your studio. To take the filters out you have to unscrew the top but I mean, we are jewelers and we are good with tools so we got this!
