@tkiplinger - “This little trick is great for creating head pins for cold connections, heat rivets, earrings components, and hanging beads. Bonus: It’s low stress and fun. The wire gauge and metal depends on the intended function for the component, but I like fine silver when possible since it makes a perfectly smooth ball. When I use sterling for this, I find that applying a more gradual heat helps keep the ball from “crinkling.” Thank you so much for letting me share this 🙏 so helpful!
