This titanium stand is designed to help you solder hollow forms, bezels, and really any situation where you'd like to be able to heat from below. I love how compact this is and that you can take it apart and store it when not in use. Since titanium is not a particularly good conductor of heat it wonβt act as a heat sink, it also wonβt rust or corrode and retains its strength at soldering temperatures. If you are newer to jewelry making here is a tip: when Iβm soldering this decorative bezel I heat from below because the baseplate requires a little more heat and this prevents the bezel from melting as I solder them together. Itβs kiln safe so you can use it to prop enameling and itβs also been used for torch fired enamel! If you have questions I know Chris will be checking out the comments βΊοΈ the link I DM is an affiliate link and each purchase supports Chrisβs small business and Metalsmith Society! The Ti-Quad is $80 and at the time of me posting itβs on sale for $75. Thank you for checking that out! #affiliate #jewelrytools #newjewelrytools #solderingbezels #beginnerjewelrymaking #learnjewelrymaking
