I don’t think I have ever seen this tip from @theschoolofjewellery.ie 😀 using two sanding discs as a sandwich!
“When making brooch pins, lapel pins or generally any round taper I place two medium grit emery discs together and screw together on a screw mandrel. Then when rotating in a pendant motor slowly I introduce the end of the pin wire and rotate the wire so as not to get flat spots on the wire. Taking care not to go two fast and using a pedal operated drill so I can lift my foot if I am not comfortable as both hands are occupied.”
