THE ELECTRIC BLOWER š¤Æ
@foxtailjewelry shared some of her favorite small electric tools. Analog tools work fine, but MAN Iāve been happy to have upgraded to electronic versions of a few devices! (This is not an ad, itās just some tools that I genuinely enjoy using on a regular basis.) ⢠ELECTRIC MIXER - If youāve ever mixed investment, you know that youāve gotta whisk continually for THREE WHOLE MINUTES to activate the compounds. Doesnāt sound like very long, but it gets tiresome after around minute one. ⢠ELECTRIC IGNITER - This one from
@pepetools_usa has been a game changer, especially when soldering a production line where Iām constantly turning the torch on and off between set-ups. My thumb used to get blisters from my Bic! Itās also great for lighting my big casting torch hands-free. ⢠MECHANICāS BAR LIGHT - I canāt say enough good things about this flashlight. I think itās intended for working under the hood of a car (the magnet makes placing it anywhere you might need it super easy), but the bright, even light bar is FABULOUS for when I find myself in the Jewelerās Prayer position š Bonus points for easily attaching to my drop-plate for extra light under my microscope when I need some extra rays. ⢠ELECTRIC AIR BLOWER - Canned air is still useful in the studio for certain things, but this little handheld blower has minimized my waste of all those disposable cans, and has come in handy in about a dozen different ways. Plus the rechargeable battery lasts a lifetime! Please share any additional electric alternatives you use in your own studio, Iād love to hear about them!ā The blower though! For cooling thermoloc and drying jewelry (prevents your steel tools from getting rusted!!) thank you so much for sharing this with us!!
