@roseandcrownjewellers - “Shortening your goats hair polishing wheel will give you a better polish. It's important to remember when polishing that the softer you push the straighter your bristles stay and the more effectively they polish. Jewellers often make the assumption that the harder they push the jewellery into the buff the better there polish will be. Wrong, this only opens up the mop and rounds off corners. You'll find a light touch is best. You want the mop to brush over the surface of the metal.” Where eye protection of course 😎 I’ve never worked with one of these so thanks for sharing this!
