This week on #tooltalksaturday I got to hear about this amazing @foredomelectric Portable Micro-Motor with 3/32" Handpiece from Madison of @vancraftedstudio (she makes jewelry while traveling, often setting up her studio in the woods 😁) - “I charge it up when I get a chance maybe at a coffee shop or on my goal zero solar system. It only takes 2 hours to charge & with that delivers between 3 to 5 hours of work depending on the work you’re doing. There is a light up battery indicator on it letting you know where you’re at- so you’re never surprised if it runs out of juice!
Using it is super easy. There is a knob you turn that’s just min to max. It’s super smooth and packs a lot of power. I have fully enjoyed its functionality & high quality.
When the road trip is done you can actually attach a foot pedal & plug it into a power source to make it your full time flex shaft.” I not only want one but I also want to make jewelry in the woods! Looks positively magical! Thank you for sharing this!! 🙏🏻😘 EDIT: I originally called this a flexshaft and it’s actually a Micro-Motor #metalsmithsociety #tooltimesaturday #toolporn #jewelrytoolporn #benchjeweler #flexshaft #foredomflexshaft #portableflexshaft
