Here is a terrific method for making balls the same size from @jewelryinstructor - “When you have to make a bunch of identically-sized silver balls, the easiest method is to start out with the same size wire pieces. I superglued washers together at various heights to make these simple jigs. I just feed wire down into the opening until it touches my bench block, then snip the wire level with the top of the washers. I can feed the wire pretty quickly (snip snip snip!), and slide the washers to the edge of my bench block to drop the wire bits into a small bowl sitting underneath. Goes super fast, and when melted, the balls are identical.” Thank you so much for letting me share! #metalsmithsociety #benchtip #metalsmithsociety #jewelryinstructor #learntomakejewelry #jewelryclasses #onmybench #theviewfromhere #workinprogress
