Here is a tip to modify your pliers from
@abigail_jewellery - “I have a pair of nylon nose pliers and one of the nylon pads had come off. I had been commissioned to make some wedding rings using 6mm x 2mm D shaped gold wire, and needed something I could use to bend the wire while accommodating the curve of the D shape. Instead of buying more pliers, I molded some Thermo-loc polymer putty to the shape of the wire, and when it set it did the job wonderfully! Best part is I can heat and remove the Thermo-loc to make further modifications if needed.” LOVE THIS! Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us!!
