Here is a stonesetting tip from @bluelotusjewelry - “When working with non calibrated stones.. sometimes the seats of the stones are a bit bigger than the stones, or the stones have huge girdles and don't want to stay in their seats.. taking a jolly rancher and sucking on it for a minute to get it to a taffy like consistency you can scrape some on your tweezers and smear it over the stones after you set them in, this will keep them from jumping out as you use your beading tool to push the beads over the stones.. the jolly rancher washes off with water in a cinch , leaving no residue, compared to beeswax or or substances that may leave hard to remove residues.” Also Jolly Ranchers are delicious so this is a win/win.
