Really excited to share my conversation with Scott Whitaker of @scottjamesjewelry and here is his tip/tool - “Some of the tools I use the most for setting bezels are a nicely weighted ball peen hammer and a small brass rod cut and shaped to size to help with setting different stones in the studio from diamonds to turquoise. 6 gauge is what I am currently using but I just purchased a new set to try out other size options.” I love this because these tools are affordable and also really smart to use brass when setting bezels to reduce marring your metal.
