It’s #tooltimesaturday and I know many of us are already using 3M radial discs but for those that don’t know about them they are AWESOME. They come in different colors/abrasives and sizes, I highly recommend getting a kit because they are worth every penny. I don’t own a polishing machine and I’ve used these for over ten years to help me in my polishing process. To use you mount at least two (but I usually use three or four) on a screw mandrel. Be sure they are facing the correct direction. My flexshaft rotates counter clockwise and therefore my bristles face to the right. They are wonderful for getting into small details, they aren’t too aggressive (they likely won’t put a dent in your work if you linger in the same spot for too long) but you should always keep them moving while in use. Let me know in the comments if you use them, love them or have any questions! I’d love for you to also let me know what tools you are interested in seeing on Saturdays and please feel free to send me one so I can feature it sometime! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend! 😘 #metalsmithsociety #toolporn #jewelrygang #3mradialdiscs #foredomflexshaft @foredomelectric @3m #polishing #benchjeweler #jewelrytooltime
